Sequential
Art
Sequential and narrative projects and artworks are something I specialise in. I pride myself on my ability to pinpoint visual timing and panel progression, which varies depending on many different factors, the most important of which being the form the story takes and the point of the story as a whole.
I create all forms of visual storytelling, from long-form comics to illustrations which sit alongside written stories, and I enjoy working with or without panels.
The Night Shift
webcomic
‘The Night Shift’ is a webcomic that I have been creating and sharing since 2019. It focuses on finding magic in the mundane and is based around two convenience store employees and the cryptid customers they encounter.
Like a lot of the work I create, this supernatural LGBTQ+ comic is about representing many different people from many different walks of life. I have included some recent panels below, but you can read the comic here.

‘Safe’
Wall comic
This project was created for exhibition at North Wales Pride 2024.
The poetry and illustrations lead us through the streets of 19th-century Britain, following a man as he avoids trouble and finds safety within a molly house. Within the house, we get a glimpse at the other patrons and into part of Britain’s history that is rich but very much hidden.
Researching and illustrating queer history is very rewarding for me, and I enjoy bringing the lives of the past to the audiences of the present.
The piece is 160cm x 80cm, printed on 420gsm lay flat media with a matt lamination finish.
It was displayed in Llangefni Town Hall as part of the Pride exhibition and celebrations.
The piece in full can be seen below as well as close-up pages to read the story.
Soapbox
webcomic
‘Soapbox’ is currently being revamped and redone.
Set in the 2010s, it draws from my experiences around growing up queer in Manchester. It was created to tackle difficult subjects like feelings of otherness, jealousy, glass ceilings and figuring out the world as well as your place within it.
The story follows Lars Lawrence, a nonbinary teen, as they try to navigate queer dating, friends, family and college; all while trying to keep their part-time job.
